Wellesley softball is back in action! Following an incredibly successful 2008-2009 season, the Blue are gearing up for another campaign. Long-anticipated fall season practices begin September 8th for the squad, and the Blue will return to competitive action the weekend of Saturday, September 20 at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Tournament to be held in Leominster, Massachusetts. Wellesley softball will compete against the following institutions at the tournament:
Wellesley versus Assumption 11:00am
Wellesley versus Franklin Pierce 1:00pm
Wellesley versus Worcester State 3:00pm

This fall, Wellesley will practice and compete with eleven players as four team members, Juniors, Megan Wood (Croatia), Alex Warren (Scotland), Ilana Orloff (Australia), and Shawna McCreadie (Ireland) are studying abroad.
